Legacy fashion house Paco Rabanne is dropping NFTs in partnership with Selfridges. Vogue Business is reporting that the drop will include 56 NFT dresses inspired by 12 early conceptual pieces from the fashion house. The legendary 1966 debut show from Paco Rabanne featured 12 dresses rendered in "contemporary materials", which included gold, aluminum and plastics.

Paco Rabanne collaborated with Selfridges on a virtual store during Metaverse Fashion Week. This NFT drop will continue that partnership with another virtual experience. Paco Rabanne has stated that profits from the NFT sales will go towards building up their archive, which includes buying back materials, recordings and image rights, as well as improving preservation and storage.
