Printemps builds metaverse, partners with DRESSX

Luxury French department store Printemps has developed its own metaverse, building a web3 virtual store experience within its e-commerce platform. The experience is set in a garden beneath a rendition of the famous dome at the store's Haussmann location. As reported by Forbes, customers that purchase a product from the virtual store are entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of 30 NFTs created in collaboration with artist Romain Froquet.

Printemps has also created a pop-up with DRESSX in its flagship IRL location where visitors can try on AR looks in a full-length virtual mirror. DRESSX created five new looks exclusive to Printemps for the occasion. This is the latest in a number of high-profile collaborations for DRESSX, including NFTs made with Dundas World on the occasions of the Super Bowl and the Grammys, which dropped on the new DRESSX NFT platform.
